Abstract:
    This invention discloses a determination method and a device for the transmission mode of local areas in a multi-cast system to reduce the adjacent regions of PTP and PTM mode as much as possible, which can determine the transmission mode of a local area initially based on the user number of the multi-cast service, if the proportion of the PTM mode area adjacent to PTP mode surpasses the threshold, then the PTP mode is turned to PTM or defines a local area set composed of multiple adjacent local areas in advance based on the adjacent information of local areas according to network programmed data to set a unified transmission mode for each set, in which, the transmission mode of the set can be decided by relative proportion of the transmission mode determined by each area or the total number of users in the sets.
