Abstract:
    The present invention relates to a digital broadcast terminal based on diversity reception and receiving method thereof. The terminal is characterized in that it comprises: a plurality of broadband antennas which can receive the signal of communication frequency-band and broadcast frequency-band; broadcast parts select one diversity from the broadband antennas by antenna select switch based on the minimal bit error rate principle for receiving broadcast signal. The terminal of the invention improves the receiving sensitivity of digital broadcasting, receives broadcast signal correctly in the attenuation region and display the effect of broadcast menu without interrupting.
