     The disclosed dual-mode broadcast system comprises: a broadcast station with a digital broadcast module to broadcast digital signal, a calling module to transmit calling signal, a control module to control the calling module before its broadcast, a broadcast receiver with a digital receive module, a receive-calling module to receive the prompt signal from calling module, and a control module to control the digital receive module to start up and receive the broadcast signal after receiving prompt signal.
