Abstract:
    The optical fiber converter includes supply voltage changer (SVC) chip MAX232CWE, optical fiber drive (OFD) chip DS75451, two pieces of light emission module HFBR1414T, two pieces of light-receiving module HFBR2412T. Being connected to serial communication interface, SVC chip receives signal from main control computer. 12 pins of SVC chip are connected to OFD chip. OFD chip connects two pieces of light emission module. Passing through NOT gate, output signal of the light-receiving module is divided into two routes: one route reaches to input end of AND gate; the other end passing through protective circuit composed of resistance and diode reaches to the other end of the AND gate. After two pieces of sending end are connected to OR gate, the sending end of the OR gate is connected to 11 pin of MAX232CWE. Propagation delay time of the optical fiber converter is about 1.5ms, which meets requirement of engineering. The optical fiber converter saves fabricating cost, and provides convenient installation.
