Abstract:
     The salty sweets are produced with edible starch, gelatin, honey and water as well as salty agent, and the formulation consists of edible starch 20-95.5 wt%, gelatin honey 1-20 wt%, water 3-30 wt% and salty agent 0.3-25 wt%. The salty agent is sodium chloride, and into the components, Chinese medicinal materials in 0.05-15 wt% may be added. The salty sweets may be served to diabetics and other people sensitive to sugar.
