Abstract:
    Completely CMOS technology and design is adopted in the invention. The main part of this A/D converter consists of the drive circuit, the quantization device, the low bits pre-coder, the hi-speed coder, the clock tree, the hi-bits digital output module and the low-bits digital output module. Especially, the hi-speed coder uses the structure of the separate hi-bits and low-bits coding method. Being realized by a ROM array, the hi-speed coder possesses the advantages of simple circuit structure, hi-integration, and not lost data. This invention can be applied in both military and civilian area, e.g. hi-speed wideband digital receiver and hi-speed disc, etc.
