Abstract:
     The present invention provides a new beverage with health-care function. Said new beverage is made up by using Grosvenor's momordica leaf as basic raw material. Its production method includes the following steps: concentrating extract of Grosvenor's momordica leaf, diluting and adding required flavouring agent to obtain liquid beverage with various tastes or pulverizing dried Grosvenor's monordica leaf, adding Grosvenor's momodica glycoside and making into the invented tea bag. According to the detection by using HPLC in the Grosvenor's monordica leaf its contained flavone compound content is identical to that of ginkgo flavonl, for example, its quercetin content and kaempferol content are not less than that of ginkgo flavone. Said new beverage has the effects of resisting senility, inhibiting tumor and preventing and curing angiocardiopathy.
