Abstract:
     A finite impact response (FIR) filter quilizer with lower noise is composed of digital signal processor (DSP) and the first and the second transverse filters. Said DSP is for adaptive filter and Said transverse filters are for high-speed transverse filter. It features that the intercode interference (sub-channel and in-band disturbance) intensity in input data is detected by DSP and a threshold value is set up according to input S/N ratio. The intercode interference lower than this threshold is treapted as noise. The tapping coefficient only having noise without sub-channe interference is treated as zero, that is, the tapping coefficient has a threshold value and the tapping coefficient lower than the threshold is equal to zero.
