Abstract:
    There is provided an acoustic device capable of automatically setting a gain appropriate for both of the average signal intensity of input audio and an instantaneous signal intensity and enabling a user to easily recognize the effect obtained by the ON/OFF switching of the automatic gain variation operation and easily recognize the change of the gain value. The acoustic device includes a gain setting unit (20) for setting a gain according to the audio intensity of average audio in a predetermined period and a gain setting unit (22) for setting a gain according to an instantaneous signal intensity. The acoustic device adjusts the signal intensity of the audio input signal (Si) by gain C obtained by multiplying gain A with gain B.
