Abstract:
     The invention provides a multistage auto gain control IC system with gain indicating function, comprises preamplification circuit, band-pass filter circuit, controllable gain amplifier, and the control level generating circuit composed of peak value detection circuit and judgment circuit. The signal is firstly coupled to the preamplification circuit and then enters in the peak value detection circuit and the band-pass filter circuit, the DC level generated by the peak value detection circuit enters in the judgment circuit to compare with voltage reference so as to generate the auto gain, which controls the control level of the amplifier, the control level is coded to generate a gain indicating output signal and simultaneously enters in the controllable gain amplifier to control the amplifying multiple of the controllable gain amplifier, so as to properly amplify the signal from the band-pass filter circuit, judges the gain of the controllable gain amplifier according to the indicating output signal, and then recovers the original actual strength of the detected signal. The invention can expand the range of processing input signal and has the output indicating function.
