Abstract:
     A circuit arrangement for regulating a signal DC component is specified, which is connected to an input of a frequency mixer (1). The regulation comprises a common-mode signal component detector (5), which supplies the DC component of the input signal. A comparator (8) compares said DC component with a reference value and, depending on this, drives means for influencing the common-mode level (12). With the common-mode level regulation described, a radio frequency front end of analogue construction can be combined virtually arbitrarily with baseband chips in order to form a mobile radio transmitter. Moreover, temperature- and ageing-dictated drift effects are advantageously corrected.
