Abstract:
    The switched reluctance motor (SRM) system includes SRM, power converter, and controller. Power converter is connected between motor-assisted bicycle carried storage battery and SRM. Character is that being connected to storage battery, and SRM, the controller is in use for controlling on/off switch tube in power converter in order to rotate speed of SRM. Being different from structure of traditional biconvex poles, the structure of SRM with fan shaped rotor possesses features: stator teeth are alternated with wide teeth and narrow teeth; a winding is wrapped on each wide tooth; radial opposite windings are connected in series or in parallel to constitute one phase coil of motor; being in fan shaped discrete structure, teeth of rotor are fixed on rotor yoke evenly by non-magnetic material. Comparing with traditional structure of SRM, the disclosed system increases output torque, reduces torque ripple, and makes integration of electromotion and regenerative brake.
