Abstract:
    The invention provides a driving device with a high-freedom shape. In a driving device (1) related in embodiments of the invention, with a shift direction conversion mechanism (50), a lens unit (56) is driven along a direction orthogonal to a long side direction of a driving elemnet (3). I.e, the driving direction of the lens unit (56) and the long side direction of the driving elemnet (3) is not in parallel. In this way, when compared with a present driving device which is parallel to the driving direction of the lens unit (56) and the long side direction of the driving elemnet (3), the driving device (1) realizes enhancement of the freedom of the shape.
