     The invention relates to a health edible oil containing octacosanol and method for making same, wherein the constituents comprise (by weight portion) 0.0001-1% of octacosanol powder with a purity of 10-90%, 98.8-99.8% of edible plant mixed oil, and 0.02-0.2% of anti-oxidizing agent. The preparing process comprises the steps of stirring for complete dissolving, drying and loading to obtain the end product.
