Abstract:
    Disclosed is an AC overvoltage protective device and method for controlling the same relating to an overvoltage protective device and method for controlling the same. The protective device comprises the following parts: a back voltage preventing part for outputting assigned voltage; an on call power source supplying integrated circuit switching to lock status; an on call starting time delaying part containing more than one resistance; a main power source supplying integrated circuit for terminating the power source supplying to all the integrated circuits. The control method comprises the following steps:(a)a step of outputting assigned voltage; (b)a step of switching the on call power source supplying integrated circuit to lock status; (c)a step of prolonging the starting time of the on call power source supplying integrated circuit with more than one resistance; (D)a step of stopping the power source supplying to all the integrated circuits. The present invention is capable of preventing the problems caused by overcharging of the capacitor, and has favorable advantages in the aspects of cost and space efficiency.
