Abstract:
     The present invention discloses a fresh-keeping agent for fruit and vegetable and its preparation process. Its main composition is composed of (weight portion) rosin 300-500, shellac 100-300, beeswax 300-500 and thiabendazole 5-10 (or potassium sorbate or sodium benzoate 1-10). Its preparation process includes the following steps: 1. dissolving rosin and shellac in ethyl alcohol solution; 2. homogenizing or saponifying beeswax; 3. emulsifying 1 and 2, and mixing them, and making them into biomembrane matrix; 4. adding thiabendazole or potassium sorbate or sodium benzoate in the biomembrane matrix, uniformly mixing them so as to obtain the invented product. Said invention is simple in preparation, rich and easily available in raw material, and can form semi-transparent polymeric biomembrane on fruit or vegetable surface, so that it possesses good fresh-keeping effect, and has no toxic side effect.
