Abstract:
     Being improved based on traditional spark plug; the disclosed inverted arc spark plug of dual porcelain poles includes central sheet type electrode, torus type side electrode, and porcelain body of spark plug. Two electrodes are made from conducting ceramic material. Planes the discharge ring edges of the said two electrodes locate at are perpendicular to axis of porcelain body of spark plug. Centers of turning circle of the two discharge ring edges are positioned on the said axis. Position of the central sheet type electrode is lower than position of the torus type side electrode (spark plug is placed vertically, and discharge end adown). The spark plug can form discharge curtain in 360-degree frustum pyramidal shape. Advantages are: larger gap of flash over, stable ignition, increasing power, lowering oil consumption, and prolonging service life. The invention can be applicable to gasoline engine of car, motorcycle, and engineering mechanism.
