    Transmission line type equipotential ring type air space lightning apparatus comprises equipotential ring, lightning protected counterattack net, tie point of the equipotential ring and the lightning protected counterattack net, connector of the equipotential ring, wire cross arm, tie point of the equipotential ring and the wire cross arm, insulator string, wire, air gap insulation distance between the equipotential ring in addittion to the lightning protected counterattack net and wire, transmission line pole and ground wire etc. Eleven parts. When wire cross arm bears lightning surge, as a result of equipotential connection of the wire cross arm and the equipotential ring in addition to the lightning protected counterattack net, the lightning surge on the wire between the wire cross arm and the lightning protected counterattack net is minimal, thus achieving the goal of lightning protection.
