Abstract:
     A spark-plug has a housing (21) on which at least one ground/earth electrode (31) is fixed, and an isolator (22) arranged in the housing, where a spark gap is formed by applying a high-voltage between the ground/earth electrode (31) and the center electrode (32). The ground/earth electrode has a slot (40) on its lateral surface facing the central electrode (32).
