Abstract:
The fresh preserving agent for oranges and tangerines includes four kinds of materials: A,B,C, D. A refers to bactiricidal, such as benzimidazole etc., B to starch etc., C to sodium benzoate, sorbic acid etc., and D to citric acid, phosphate etc. The preparation ratio of the four kinds of materials is as follows: A:B:C:C=1:20-40:4:2-8. This fresh-preserving agent can not only increase and keep lustre of the fruits, but also transform continuously the colour of processed fruits in the post-riping process. No peculiar smell occurs after a long term of preservation. At the same time, it has an antiseptic action. For treated Wenzhou mandarin orange, the preservation period lasts more than three months, and for sweet oranges, five months or more.
