Abstract:
    The subject of this invention is to provide a connector used for memory card installing a memory card, which is capable of effectively preventing a memory card flying off when the mounting memory card pops up. A connector used for memory card 1 holding a memory card MC inserts and is capable of performing a electronic connection by connecting a contact part MC2 of a memory card MC. A semi-locking mechanism 6 is provided on the connector side face 3a which faces to a side face being not pluggable MC4 of a memory card MC, and is capable of holding temporarily the inserted memory card MC on the position during the insertion course. A card tighten spring 7 capable of applying force to a side of the semi-locking mechanism 6 from the inserted memory card MC is provided on the connector side face 3b which faces to the semi-locking mechanism 6 in said connector used for memory card 1. The spring 7 is capable of preventing the memory card MC flying off when the memory card MC is taken out.
