Abstract:
The pesticide mixture lump contains 30-47 peat, 27-49 ammonium nitrate, 1-15 pesticide and water up to 100 in wt%. The peat is crushed into grains smaller than/mm and dried up to a moisture content of 18-25 wt%. The ammonium nitrate is dessolved in water at 80-90 deg.C to obtain aqueous solution, in which the weight ratio of ammonium nitrate to water is 80-85 to 20-15. The solution is mixed with the crushed and ddried peat in the weight ratio of 0.7-1.7 to 1.0. The resulting material is pressed into lumps at 60-85 deg.C and dried at a temp bebow 60 deg.C up to a moisture content of 14-20 wt%. The pressed lumps are soaked with the solution of pesticide in volatile organic solvent with the amount of pesticide being 1-15 wt% that of the lumps, and then the solvent in the lumps is removed.
