Abstract:
    This invention relates to a filter antenna loaded by frequency selection surface based on a horn surface composed of a relatively independent horn antenna and a frequency selection surface based on a chip integrated waveguide technology, in which, the antenna part is composed of a fed standard X band metal waveguide and a square taper horn, the frequency selection surface is set on the medium chip with double metal faces etched with periodic # slot units completely the same on both sides of the double metal surfaces to form a new type of frequency selection surface introducing traditional metal cavity resonance mode. Compared with horn antennas of ordinary end joint waveguide filter, it has the same fine radiation performance at the working band.
