Abstract:
    A charging equipment is provided. A charging terminal (1a) for an anode and a charging terminal (1b) for a cathode are provided in a battery mounting unit (8), the terminals are connected with an anode terminal (2a) and a cathode terminal (2b) of a battery (2), and a control microcomputer (6) is provided in the battery mounting unit (8) for controlling a charging operation when the battery (2) is mounted, a switch terminal (1d) is arranged without being contacting with the charging terminal (1a) for the anode or the charging terminal (1b) for the cathode in the battery mounting unit (8), when mounting the battery (2) in the battery mounting unit (8), the charging terminal (1a) for the anode or the charging terminal (1b) for the cathode and the switch terminal (1d) is short circuited by the anode terminal (2a) and the cathode terminal (2b) of the battery (2), thereby the control microcomputer (6) detectes the mounting and the battery (2).
