Abstract:
     This invention describes a n-phase charge coupling device which has a number of parallel input terminals and an array of light-sensitive elements coupled with the charge coupler via said parallel input terminals. A controlling circuit can be used to induce a apontential trogh in the channel correspon ding to each input terminal.By this invention,it is possible to increase the mumber of picture elements with the number of the timing electrodes unchanged,or to decrease the number of timing elements while maintaining the picture elements unchanged.
