| The characteristics of this locator are that a thermoelectric response element consists of a conducting endothermic layer and a grid thermoelectric material slice, the sensitivity of which is more than 2x10 to the power 9 mm. Hz to the power one over 2/watt, that is, more than three times that of any other thermoelectric infra-red locators, thus the locator can be more extensively applied to those high sensitivity infra-red instruments, such as infra-red spectrometer, infra-red gas analyzer, infra-red radiometer and so forth. | |||
