Abstract:
     Discharge lamp has an inner bulb of arc lamp and an outer envelope enclosing the inner bulb. Neon gas of 0.1 atm or more is filled into the outer envelope. Otherwise, the mixed gas composed of neon and breakdown-checking gas, which has a pressure ratio of 0.8 or more, can also be filled into the outer envelope.
