Abstract:
     The lamp is composed of a discharging tube sealed in the bulb with a neck. The neck of the bulb is connected to the sleeve of the base. There is an electronic circuit with a semi-conductor switching element for controlling discharging current in the course of running of the lamp in the base. A cooling element in the semi-conductor switching element is preferably fitted at the sleeve. Therefore, the lamp offered by the present invention and a ballast which is not applicable to the said lamp may be combined to use without any other means.
