Abstract: |
|||
| A detection circuit for enhancing an output signal having poor signal-to noise ratio is characteristic for a photomultiplier driven near the upper limits of performance in a microspectrofluorescence analysis system. The circuit consists of a selected low inherent noise photomultiplier tupe providing output through a multi-pole active filter to a high gain operational amplifier, said active filter being tuned to a low corner frequency with maximum roll-off adjustment. | |||
