Abstract:
     The colour CRT electron gun includes cathode, electron beam forming area comprising the first grid and the second grid, and main focusing lens, which has the first and the second accelerating/focusing electrodes and focus the three electron beams from electron beam forming area. Inside the first and the second accelerating/focusing electrodes are separately mounted the first and the second inclined extension electrodes. The electron gun can eliminate astigmatism and raise the resolution of screen fringes without using separate correcting electrodes.
