Abstract:
    The support spring member 1 of plate spring-shape for supporting the color selection mechanism in the cathode-ray tube is formed by a material, which has a larger coefficient of thermal expansion than the coefficient of thermal expansion of the frame member 3, constituting the frame of the color selection mechanism. To improve quality of image of the display image by suppressing the X shifting by thermal effects on the color selection mechanism of the cathode-ray tube and moreover by making GH appropriate, and thereby increasing the tolerance against the deterioration of images, such as color slippage.
