Abstract:
     The invention relates to a microwave illuminator and illuminating method, solving the problem of being unable to immediately relight a microwave lamp so as to wait for a period of cooling time as it is turned off, and including: a microwave-generating magnetic controlled tube and a network resonator having electrode-free lamps, obtaining the microwave supply from the magnetic controlled tube to vibrate them simultaneously, and converting microwave heat energy to light energy to furthest emit light outward; a microwave guide to guide the microwave to the resonator; a variable high-voltage generator, which applies the voltage on the magnetic controlled tube as relighting the lamp so as to increase the startup voltage to a certain voltage above to be supplied to the magnetic controlled tube, and reduces the startup voltage below an ordinary voltage to be supplied to the magnetic controlled tube; a cooling device for preventing the magnetic controlled tube and variable high-voltage generator from superheating; and a control device of the variable high-voltage generator and cooling device.
