Abstract:
     A fuse device absorbs the virtue of two kinds of fuses for arc-extinguishing, such as the current-limiting fuse filled with quartz sand and the explusion type fuse. The two kinds of fuses are connected in series to constitute a composite construction. It has a higher interrupting capacity and improved interrupting current up to 16 KA with small acous to optic effect and a better property of security; moreover, makes a break through at the aspect of circuit protection property. It is capable of interrupting a inductive current as well as a larger capacitive current. There is no dead area in it's interrupting a small current; It can be interrupted with reliability and achieved at a automatic drop-out action as soon as one of fuse-link is blown. Obviously, it has good protection capability in the condition of overload and short circuit current.
