Abstract:
     A new high-abrasive and friction reduced electric contact used in electric components is produced in the way of depositing, on the matrix of copper or copper alloy, a compound coat of Ag-BN or Ag-MoS2 with electric plating. In the coat, the particles of BN and MoS2 occupying 1-10% of the volume of the coat are dispersecl. and their diameters are smaller than 5 micron. This compounel coat has higher microhardness, lower friction factor and abrasive ratio than pure silver, and its eletroconductibility and contact resistance are close to pure silver, and its dynamic contact resistance varies with time much more smoothly than pure silver. The working reliability and service life of electric contact components manufactured from this compound cost increase largely, and more than 50% silver is saved.
