Abstract: |
|||
| Aluminum foils uned as a material of electrodes in electrolytic capacitors are manufactured by a method in which a surface portion an aluminium foil is removed at first before the foils are electrochemically or chemically etched later. Then, an initial internal oxide coating 5 to 50 A thick is formed on surface of the aluminum foils from which the surface portion has been removed. Subsequently, the aluminum foils are subjected to high temperature heat treatment such that the whole thickness of the oxide coating does not exceed 70 A. | |||
