Abstract:
     This invention concerns a method to decrease the heating temperature of 3% Si common grain-oriented electricl steel slab. The crystal boundary enriching elements Sb or Sn are added as inhibitors of primary grain growth, and played the role to decrease the contents of Mn,S,C in the steel,so as to reduce heating temperature of the above-mentioned steel slab from above 1360 deg.C. to 1300~1200 deg.C. Thus the fuel consumption and the slab burning loss are lowered and the life of heating furnace is lengthened. The steel can still preserve good magnetic propertys.
