Abstract:
     In this invention, a set of attractive electromagnets is used to get rid of the gap between the auxiliary frictional components in the prake. Then, an other set of repulsive electromagnets is controlled to produce braking force. Combined with a cam-opening drum brake this new device be used as the braking system for various kinds of vehicles.
