Abstract:
     The system is arranged about an essentially cylindrical examination space and comprises at least four conductor segments which are oriented essentially parallel to the longitudinal central axis. It receives R.F currents produces alternating magnetic fields. In such a coil system the generating and reception of at least substantially homogeneous R.F. alternating magnetic fields is also possible via spaces whose dimensions reach at least approximately the order of magnitude of the wavelength of the R. F. magnetic field.
