Abstract:
     This relay is driven by a three-position electromagnetic actuator with two electromagnetic coils. The armature has three working positions when the two coils are powered separately or not powered. The supporter of active contacts connected with the armature through a shaft thus obtains three positions. The supporter has a projection which has curved surface with continuously changed curvature. It allows the contact groupes to take six working positions through a spring, steel balls and the levers on which the auxiliary contacts is mounted. Three-position electromagnetic relay can be made into single-point or double-point type and can substitute 2 two-position relays. It has the advantages of compact construction, multiple functions and low cost, etc.
