Abstract:
     In the device of the present invention, a cylindrical yoke iron is placed around the upper and the lower pole pieces, which are fixed to a permanent-magnet's upper and lower faces; there is a predetermined cylindrical space between the yoke, the pole pieces and the permanent-magnet. Within that cylindrcal space, a coil is wound around a cylindrical coil frame that can move axially, so that cylndricas gaps are formed vetween the inner and outer surfaces of the coil frame and the outer surface of the pole pieces or the inner surface of the yoke iron respectively. The gaps are open along the length of the pole pieces. The device is suitable for electromagnetic force equilibrated type balances.
