Abstract:
     A three-phase saturating reactor including five intermediate legs and two outer yoke. The area of cross section of upper yoke, lower yoke and outer yoke, respectively, is of 1/2 of that of intermediate leg. there are four kinds of winding diagrams of ac winding and dc windings. The best kind is that ac and dc windingsare mutually wound on seven legs and two ac windings are connected in parallel simultaneously. compared with combination of three single-phase saturating reactors, on the codition that the amounts of copper (or aluminium ) winding wire are approximately equal, the three-phase saturating reactor has advantages that core weight is reduced abfout 1/2, working hours for manufacfacturing the products are saved and three-phase symmetry is improved. The invention can also be used for dc controlling ac three-phase equipments such as three-phase magnetic amplifier.
