Abstract:
     On-load tap switch in usual device is used in turning about as the transformer is operated in excited condition. With respect to ordinary vacuum on-load tap switch, the breaking capacity of vacuum element is four times as much as the product of the load current and the tap voltage. The secondary energy-storage device of this invention is used and the contacts of the main swithch and the switch on resistance side are inlaid with tungsten-copper alloy accordingly as to reduce the breaking capacity of vacuum element by four times, and having twice the capability of arc exting uishing. This device is possessed with high reliability, simplified protection and no occurrence of short-circut in tapping, there for, this switch can be used within high-tension large capacity transformers.
