Abstract:
     This electricity-saving fluorescent lamp ballast (ESFLB) unit is espacially designed for the fluorescent lamp ballastg with power less than 9 W, which consists of core and winding, but differs from the traditional as followings: the core has no magnetic gap, a set of silicon sheets orthogonally inserted at middle of the opening is used as magnetic separator, the distribution of winding and the number of turns are slightly different. Except the main winding sub windings are added, functions of which are: (a) used as the flexible additional ESFLB and (b) If the ESFLB is used as a small transformer, they are used as the secondary windings.
