Abstract: |
|||
| This invention relates to a rare-earth alloy used for the production of permanently magnetic steel, which contains such materials (atomic) as R1 (15-65%), Fe (35-83%) and B (0-15%), Where R1 is at least one of heavy rare-earth elements: Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Yb. Its technological processes include such steps as reduction of the mixture of rare-earth oxide, Fe and B-containing matter with Ca, reduced matter being in contact with water, and treating the pasty product with water. This alloy may be used to produce high-performance Fe-B-R based magnetic steel with low cost, where R1 represents R (La series and/or Y). | |||
