Abstract:
     The invention concerns with a Nb-free abration-resistant, high permeability Ni-Fe complex alloy, which is suitable to make magnetic head for gamma-ferric oxide tape and chromium dioxide tape. The components of the alloy by ratio are (wt.) Ni 70-83, Mo 1-6, Ti 0.4-2, Mn 0.4-1, and one or some of the following components: W 0.8-3, V 0.4-2, Al 0.1-0.4, Cr 1-3, Co 1-5, other components are iron and impurities. At the magnetic field intensity of 800 A/m, the magnetic inductance intensity is greater than 0.6 tesla, such as 0.94 tesla. The alloy is easy to be manufactured by traditional technology and in industry scale.
