Abstract:
     The present invention discloses the fabrication technique of a ceramic thermosensitive material with linear negative temp. coef., used for the manufacturing of thermistors with linear negative temp. coef.. CoO-Co2O3-Fe2O3 ceramic system is used for constructing semiconductive ceramic Co(2 ) [Fe X (3 ) Co 2-X (3 )]O4 with spinel crystalline structure. When X is equal to or less than 2, and it is also equal to or more than O, Fe(3 ) partially replaces Co(3 ), such kind of semiconductive ceramic possesses relatively high net. temp. coef. of resistance (about -3.5% per deg.C), relatively high value of constant B (about 5500k); within the temperature range of -20 to 200 deg.C, the resistance has a linear temp. relationship. Its characteristics are very stable in relation to testing frequency and testing voltage and do not vary with time.
