Abstract:
     The present invention is related to the newest additive material applied to zinc oxide lightning arrester valve blade-silver glass powder. It is melted by use of a double quartz curcible in an electric furnace using oxidizing atmosphere at 980-1180 deg.C and then repeatedly stired with a quartz rod, so that it can completely avoid the curcible leakage and the introduction of harmful matter. The introduction of a certain amount of the silver glass powder into the zinc oxide valve blade can greatly improve the life characteristic of the zinc oxide valve blade.
