| The present invention discloses an improved production method of zinc oxide resistor chip, and the said method is suitable to produce various-type zinc-oxide valve plates for lightning arresters and devices with excellent overvoltage protection and surge absorption property. Powder ZnO is used as host material, and the solutin of nitrates corresponding to Bi2O3, MnO2, Cr2O3, Co2O3 (except Sb2O3), rather than the oxides themselves, is used as additive. The material is fully mixed, desiccated, pressure formed, and sintered at 1,100-1,300 deg.C to produce resistors chip, which have great surge-resisting capability, good nonlinearity and high potential gradient. | |||
