Abstract:
     This invention relates to a method for making zinc metastannate butane gas-sensitive element. It is obtained by sintering such main materials as ZnSnO3, WO3 and SnO2, and added appropriate PtO2, Sb, Al2O3, TiO2, Co2O3, Ta2O5, pickled asbestos and Kunming ceramic powder. The element has higher sensitivity and selectivity to butane (or liquefied petroleum gas), so it is especially suitable for test, alarm, detection and control of their leakage.
