Abstract:
     Ability of arc blow out in gaps is improved by two step arc blow out method of lightning arrester. The gap in lightning arrester is consisted of series of two groups, each group respectively is in parallel with diode, poles of diode are oppositely series. This gap is in series with zinc oxide nonlinear resistance or silit valve slice, so remainder voltage is equal to action voltage. It has ideal protection feature.
